Sudden craving for meat now. These days I've weird cravings at weird time. The past 2 days were about desserts and the boyf♥ being all sweet went hunting for desserts with me at weird time & places. When it comes to food, he's definitely someone that pampers me with whatever I want to eat. I guess he's feeling guilty for the fact that I lost some weight since being together with him but I'm perfectly fine with the fact that I managed to lost weight! He stuffs me up most of time, 5 meals per day is never good for someone like me! Back to meat, I want something juicy & tender right now, something that will melt in my mouth, that will bring me to paradise the moment it enter my mouth.
If you ever pay a visit to Melbourne, no harm dropping by at The Meat & Wine Co located at South Bank. Was celebrating Bank's birthday when the boyf & his gang decided to have din din over there.
Must order: pork ribs that are slow-cooked in BBQ sauce & finished on a flaming char-grill! It comes in half/full rack, definitely works as one of the perfect appetizer to share :) There's also lamb/beef ribs available.
My Monte select of rib-eye. medium done with creamy garlic sauce on the side :) They have a wide variety of sauce & one of it definitely caught the attention of vodka lover out there: blue cheese & vodka that taste really funky & new.
Not a big fan of beef? Give their Lamb Shanks try, cooked in Provencale-style served on champ potato mash & roast vegetables. Didn't manage to get a picture of the Lamd Cutlets which was really good too!
Wanna have chicken or fish instead? Try out their chicken/salmon skewer that comes with steamed rice, teriyaki sauce & lemon wedges. Favorite of the boyf as well
♥And if you're interested in others compared to the usual, go ahead & order their house famous Kangaroo Fillet, recommended to be medium-rare done, served with honey roasted sweet potatoes, pecan & red currant juice! Only Joe was brave enough to try it though!! One of the best part of the restaurant that save lots of brain juice for thinking would be the wine recommendation section on the menu for which wine to go with which food! Save time choosing wine!! Am hungry already :( And the boyf♥ is working again till God-knows-what-time! Gonna head down to the cafes with the sister & Amelia to get myself something though! I want meat, meat & MEAT for dinner tonight pweaassseeee :)
